this allowance of time gives your yarns better absorbtion of color as well as evenly-distributed color.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4549\" style=\"width: 419px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/WeftIntoDyeBath.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4549\" class=\"wp-image-4549 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/WeftIntoDyeBath.jpg\" alt=\"WeftIntoDyeBath\" width=\"409\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/WeftIntoDyeBath.jpg 409w, https:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/WeftIntoDyeBath-245x300.jpg 245w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 409px) 100vw, 409px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-4549\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Using rubber gloves, separately add each skein to the dye-bath; gently give the skein a stir into the bath<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I ALWAYS DYE OUTSIDE.\u00a0 It is safer, especially if there is no wind.\u00a0 I use Lanaset commercial dyes for my weft yarns; they are color-fast, intense colors that will not fade easily.\u00a0 Follow the directions in your Lanaset dye recipe.\u00a0 Make your dye bath accordingly.\u00a0 Always wear rubber gloves when working with commercial dyes; always wear a dust mask too especially if there is wind or in an enclosed space &#8211; commercial powder dyes are toxic!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4550\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/SoakWashDye.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4550\" class=\"wp-image-4550 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/SoakWashDye.jpg\" alt=\"SoakWashDye\" width=\"500\" height=\"319\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/SoakWashDye.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.clarissarizal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/SoakWashDye-300x191.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-4550\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">While gently stirring the dye bath every 2 minutes (shown in right pot), I had prepared the next dye batch by soaking the washed and rinsed weft yarns (in left bowl) AND in the meantime, I had washed about 100 yards of warp (in middle pot) &#8212;
