It was known as the Philbrook Art Center until 1987, when the name was changed to Philbrook Museum of Art.<sup id=\"cite_ref-young_2-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philbrook_Museum_of_Art#cite_note-young-2\">[2]<\/a><\/sup> The collection housed at the Philbrook Museum of Art includes works from<a title=\"Giovanni Bellini\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Giovanni_Bellini\">Giovanni Bellini<\/a>,<sup id=\"cite_ref-3\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philbrook_Museum_of_Art#cite_note-3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup> <a title=\"William-Adolphe Bouguereau\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/William-Adolphe_Bouguereau\">William-Adolphe Bouguereau<\/a>, <a title=\"William Merritt Chase\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/William_Merritt_Chase\">William Merritt Chase<\/a>, Leonardo Drew, <a title=\"Arturo Herrera\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arturo_Herrera\">Arturo Herrera<\/a>, <a title=\"Charles Loloma\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charles_Loloma\">Charles Loloma<\/a>,<a title=\"Maria Martinez\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Maria_Martinez\">Maria Martinez<\/a>, <a title=\"Thomas Moran\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thomas_Moran\">Thomas Moran<\/a>, <a title=\"Pablo Picasso\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pablo_Picasso\">Pablo Picasso<\/a>, <a title=\"Fritz Scholder\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fritz_Scholder\">Fritz Scholder<\/a>, <a title=\"Tanzio da Varallo\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tanzio_da_Varallo\">Tanzio da Varallo<\/a>, <a title=\"Rachel Whiteread\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rachel_Whiteread\">Rachel Whiteread<\/a>, and <a title=\"Andrew Wyeth\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andrew_Wyeth\">Andrew Wyeth<\/a>. &#8220;Camoflauge&#8221; hand-silkscreened prints by Andy Warhol<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Philbrook Museum is beautiful. \u00a0How come; did anyone warn me about its beauty? \u00a0I don&#8217;t remember. \u00a0The history of this museum is just as fascinating as the Gilcrease Museum here in Tulsa too (of which I will include a blog post about when I go visit the Gilcrease fantastic!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I am always fascinated by the design of buildings. \u00a0I especially enjoy old architecture influenced by Europe, especially Italy. \u00a0Instead of posting photos of some I intend on doing a couple of presentations\/demonstrations in Chilkat weaving both at the Gilcrease and at the Philbrook. \u00a0I just have to get settled into the vibe of Tulsa, talk to the
