Clarissa\u2019s Chilkat weaving teacher and mentor, Jennie Thlunaut had told Clarissa the story about how when she was 5 years old, she would \u201cplay\u201d with her mother\u2019s warp and weft as it hung on the loom. Notice there are no horizontal braids between the yellow and black borders.
